This is our healthier version of a summertime classic that is ALWAYS a huge hit at BBQs. Filled with lots of taste and texture, it’s easy to prepare and makes for a pretty well-rounded meal on its own:
- 2 heads of fresh broccoli, chopped finely into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 red onion, cut into thin, bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 lb Tannadice Farms bacon, cooked to crispy and chopped into small pieces
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins
- 3/4 cup toasted sesame seeds (toast them briefly in a dry fry pan or in the toaster oven)
- 3/4 cup Mayonnaise of choice (we use Hellmans olive oil Mayo)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup Agave nectar, or to taste
Mix dressing ingredients together. Mixed remaining ingredients together. Toss and serve!
(For a vegetarian option, leave out the bacon, or replace with veggie version)
